There are one-click importers for 18 affiliate plugins, plus CSV import for anything not on the list. Affiliates, referrals and payout history come across together, so balances survive the move.
Before you start
Back up the database. An import writes real rows into your programme, and the tidiest way to undo one is to restore.
Running it
Open Squad Affiliate → Migration. The tool detects which supported plugins are present, shows you what it found — how many affiliates, how many referrals, what total unpaid balance — and imports on your confirmation. Existing records are matched rather than duplicated, so a re-run is safe and a partial import can be finished rather than restarted.
What comes across
- Affiliates, with their user account, status and commission rate.
- Referrals, with their amount, status and date.
- Payout history, so paid work is not re-paid.
- Coupon associations where the source plugin had them.
What does not
Visit-level click history, which is high-volume and rarely worth carrying, and any custom fields the source plugin invented. Neither affects a balance.
Afterwards
Check a handful of affiliates against the old plugin before you deactivate it, particularly anyone with an unpaid balance. Then leave both plugins inactive rather than deleting the old one for a cycle or two — a deleted plugin’s tables are the wrong thing to want back.
